Inhabited since prehistoric times by the Berbers, Morocco experienced the colonization of different peoples as the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines and finally the Arabs.

The Tingitana Mauritania (Morocco Roman name) was a colony of the Roman Empire and its key importance was linked to the grain production; in fact Morocco as a source of grain was valued throughout the empire.

The decor of the suite aims to evocate the style of the Roman Domus through the use of typical objects such as pottery vases, a triclinium and use of colours typical of the period of the Roman empire.
